Recycling day, Napier

We were invited by the Napier City Council to set up at their recycling day at Anderson Park, Saturday November 7.

What a fabulous event to attend.

If you haven't been before, it's a time to take your useable items that you no longer want for someone else to pick up. They then pay a small fee for that item. It's a win, win all around! Even our charity managed to pick up a couple of useful items that we can put to good use in the center.

We spoke to many people about the work that the charity does, sold quite a few raffle tickets and some more duck food. Again, thanks so much to everyone for the support from this and also the other donations that landed in the bucket! We are currently very busy with baby birds and particularly ducklings!

Teena Bull who won our raffle from the Doggy Day out, stopped by and picked up her prize too. Congratulations Teena! (pictured below)
