Daisy swan...

This is Daisy swan who came to us from Care Vets in Napier. She was sent there by the SPCA as she was found by someone, unable to walk.

Upon further investigation at the Wildlife Centre, it was found that Daisy had an internal parasite infestation that was making her incredibly unwell.

She reacted very well to the treatment and bounced back quite quickly. She started walking again and swimming in her pool.

After feeding her up over a few days and allowing her to regain her strength and body condition, Daisy was taken back to the park where she was found and released.
